Chili pepper chicken

Focal Length:55mm
Shutter:1/50 sec




Chicken-1 lb. (boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts)

pepper powder-1 tbsp.

salt-1 tsp. or to taste

Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp..


oil-2tbsp.+2 tsp.

Onion-1 medium sized

Ginger/garlic paste- 1 tbsp.

Green chili-3 or to taste

green bell pepper-1(diced)


Soysauce-2 tbsp. or to taste


cornstarch-1 tsp.


Marinate the chicken with salt, pepper powder and turmeric powder.

Take oil in a pan, add ginger garlic paste,  green chili ,onions and sauté for few minutes. Add chicken pieces to it and mix it well.

Add soy sauce and close the lid for sometime until chicken is done. Meanwhile, take 2 tsp. of oil and stir fry green bell peppers separately and add it when the chicken is almost done.

Turn off the stove and add cornstarch.


Turmeric powder is mainly used in Indian cooking to take out the raw flavor of chicken while marinating. you can skip if you do not have it.

Marinating for at least 4 hours tastes better.
