Papaya Sauce

Ingredients:
Ripe Papaya- 1 cup
onion- 1 (diced)
Red chilies- 1-2
Curry leaves (can also use mint leaves instead)- 2 tbsp. (chopped)
Cumin whole- 1/4th tsp.
Oil- 2 tsp.
Salt to taste.

Method:

1. In a pan, take oil and once it is hot, add red chili, curry leaves (or mint), cumin seeds and onion and toss the ingredients for about a minute.
2. Take the above ingredients in a blender along with papaya and grind it to a smooth paste. Add salt once the mixture is well blended.

This sauce can be used as a sandwich spread or eaten with momos or dumplings.
