Pesto Sauce:


Basil- 3 cups

Walnuts-1/4 cup

Olive oil-1/4 cup

garlic-2 cloves

salt-1/2 tsp. or less

pepper-1/4 tsp.

Cheese-1/4 cup or less( any kind of your choice,)

Green chili-1( optional)

Blend everything in food processer and store in airtight container.

if you are storing or freezing for a long time, skip the cheese.

Traditionally, it is made with pine nuts but I replace it with walnuts because these are cheaper!
