Plain Cake

Focal Length:34mm
Shutter:1/0 sec





Butter- 2 sticks
sugar- 1 cup
All purpose flour- 1 cup
eggs- 4
vanilla extract- 1 tsp.
baking powder- 3/4th teaspoon

1. Beat the eggs with vanilla extract in a mixing bowl and keep aside.
2. In another mixing bowl, beat the butter and add sugar and beat well for few more minutes (2-3 minutes).
3. Now add the eggs and vanilla mixture to the butter sugar mixture.
4. Add the all purpose flour and baking powder (both sifted before adding).
5. Bake in the oven @ 325 for 35- 40 minutes (yes, a little longer than the time required for the boxed cake mixes).

Make sure to check on the oven frequently as every oven is different. This cake tastes better by itself and if preferred serve with strawberries and whipped crème.
